Abstract
Background: Congestive Heart Faillure is a disease in which the heart fails to distribute oxygen according to metabolic needs in the body. Signs and symptoms of the disease that often occurs are shortness of breath when lying down and when on the move. Objective: to explain the nursing care given to patients with nursing problems Ineffective breath patterns in Congestive Heart Faillure (CHF) patients in the ICCU Room of Prof. General Hospital Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Results of nursing care: The assessment was conducted on three patients with congestive heart failure, then a physical examination and support. From the analysis of the data obtained by the author concludes the priority nursing problems Ineffective breathing patterns. After taking the action of giving oxygen and positioning semi-Fowler 30-450 for 3x12 hours, the results of the patient are more comfortable and relaxed. Recommendation: for further researchers are expected to be able to understand the problem of nursing ineffective breathing patterns especially in patients with congestive heart failure.
