Abstract
Background: Chronic Kidney Failure (CKD) is a disease that can cause anxiety due to hemodialysis therapy that must be undertaken. One way to overcome anxiety in kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy is used green colour therapy. Objective: To applying of green colour therapy to chronic kidney failure patients with anxiety who undergo hemodialysis therapy in Cempaka Room, dr. Sudirman Hospital at Kebumen. Method: This type of scientific writing used a descriptive case study design on 3 CRF patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy with anxiety using nursing care format, HADS anxiety measurement tool, SOP for Green colour therapy which is conducted for 3 consecutive days, for 20 minutes at a time. Results: The level of anxiety in three patients with CRF who underwent hemodialysis before colour therapy was included in the category of abnormal horderline with an average HADS score of 9 (42.85%). The level of anxiety in three CRF patients who underwent therapy after entering green therapy in the normal category with a HADS score of 5.33 (25.39%). The ability of three patients with chronic kidney failure undergoing hemodialysis therapy in reducing anxiety before green colour therapy was included in the category with a score of 7.33 (34.92%). The ability of three patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis therapy in reducing anxiety after green colour therapy was included in the good category of 19.66 (93.65%). Recommendation: This scientific work is expected to be used as a reference for further researches and its application can be applied in hospital as a SOP.
