Abstract

Background: Hallucinations are disturbance of sensory reception without external stimulation. One of the mental nursing actions used to treat patients with hallucinations is to apply mental nursing care through an implementation strategy (SP). SP is a tool used as a guide by a nurse when interacting with hallucinatory disorder patients. Purpose: To describe the clients nursing care with sensory perception disorder. Auditory hallucinations in reducing the intensity of hallucinations. Method: This study uses a case study approach to 2 clients who were treated at Pejagoan Kebumen Public Health Center with a diagnosis of auditory hallucination nursing. The instrument used was the observation sheet the ability to controlhallucinations. Results: 75% reduction in signsand symptoms of auditory hallucination in client 2, greater than client 1 by 50%. An increase in the ability to control the same hallucinations on both clients is equal to 25%. Recommendation: It is expected that nurses can implementation strategy (IS) to reduce the intensity of hallucinations on clients with auditory hallucinations.
