Abstract
Introduction, the introduction of this research is a prescribed antibiotic usually to the patient in infection caused by bacteria. Can cause antibiotic resistance if its use inappropriate. According to the Indonesian health minister, about 92% of Indonesia is cases of improper use of antibiotics require special attention on proper use of antibiotics in order to increase public knowledge and behavior toward the use of antibiotics. Purpose, the purpose of this research is to know the level of knowledge, the level of behavior and to know the relation of consumer characteristics to knowledge levels at the kemojing drug store. Method, the method of this research is survey study which it use the cross sectional approach. Sampling is done using the purposive sampling method with the e total of respondents 94 people. Results, the result of this research level of knowledge owned by respondent are categorized as good level 7%, the medium level 31% and the low level 62%. And the high behavior level 61%, the medium level 36% and the low level 3%. Conclusions, the conclusion of this research is the level of knowledge many as 62% respondents categorized low level and level of behavior many as 61% respondents categorized good level. Chi-square 4 parameters of statistical test, significant p value of 0,036 (p < 0.05) is the age parameters. Recommendation, the recommendation of this research is needs to be more interviewed to more clearly that information in a can of the respondents.
