Abstract
Background: In 3 patients who underwent craniotomy surgery after suction with a pressure of 100 mmHg, they experienced changes in oxygen saturation. The post craniotomy procedure is after the opening of the skull to remove the tumor, reduce ICP, remove blood clots or stop bleeding, which results in decreased awareness and inability to secrete the airway independently. Airway clearance is the inability to clear the secretions and obstruction of the airway, so that suction with the lowest pressure of 100 mmHg is needed in 10 seconds by observing the change in SPO2. Oxygen saturation value of 100 mmHg decreased by 2% oxygen saturation. Objective of the study: Analyzing nursing care Ineffectiveness of the Airway clearance given to the client in Craniotomy postoperative patients in the Intensive Care Unit of Prof. Dr. Margono Soekardjo Purwokerto. Research Methods: Presentation of the textular way is the presentation of research data in the form of sentence descriptions, the data will be arranged in narrative form in depth and in detail. With the number of samples of 3 nursing care respondents. Results: Based on the results of nursing observations, the results after the oxygen saturation suction increased, Tn.A SPO2 before suction 92% after suction to 93%. Mr. R before suction 92% after suction 93%. Tn.T before suction 89% after 90% suction. Conclusion: There is an increase in oxygen saturation before the nursing action and after the nursing action. Recommendation: Perform suction action according to SOP at 100 mmHg pressure in 10 seconds.
