Abstract

Background : Feeling a natural disorder or depression is the most common and longlasting psychiatric disorder. one of the nursingactions used to treat clients with depression in clients with chronic kidney failure is to apply mental nursing care through spritual relaxation distraction is a therapy as a guide by a nurse to reduce the level of depression in chronic kidney failure clients undergoing hemodialysis. Purpose : Describe nursing care for clients with chronic renal failure with a natural disorder of feeling undergoing hemodialysis, knowing the signs and symptoms before and after being given a spritual relaxation distraction theray. Method : The method used is descriptive, the instrument used is the observation sheet DASS 14 question questionnaire and observation sheet ability control depression with spritual relaxation distraction therapy. Conducted during 5x meetings from 06 January to 10 January 2020. Results : Decrease in signs and symptoms of depression by using DASS 14 questions on P1 before treatment by 19 points after being given therapy for 5x meetings to be 13 points, P2 before treatment by 17 points whereas P2 before therapy for 5x meetings to be 10 points. And an increase in the ability of spritual relaxation distraction in controlling depression at P1 by 60% while P2 by 80%. Recommendation : It is expected that nurses can apply spritual relaxation distraction therapy to clients of chronic renal failure, debgan, mood disorder undergoing hemodialysis.
