Abstract

Background: Hallucinations are one of the symptoms of mental disorders in individuals characterized by changes in sensory perception; hallucinations false sensation. Rebuke was acting alone without involving other people. Music Psychotherapy is a process of planned preventive in recovery efforts on patients who have abnormalities or obstacles in its growth, both physical motoric, social, emotional and mental intelligence. Purpose: This case study are to describe the nursing care with individual therapeutic exercises and distraction rebuked classical music. Method: This study used a case study descriptive approach in 2 patients with auditory hallucinations. Individual therapeutic exercises and distraction rebuke given to classical music for more than 10 minutes of each meeting, the research carried out for 5 x meetings. Result: Evaluation of impairment of the signs and symptoms of hallucinations in patient 1 with a score of 2 is greater than patient 2 that received one scores. There is an increased ability to exercise individual therapy rebuke and classical music distraction in patient 1 and patient 2. Recommendation: This case study is to apply the individual exercises and distraction rebuked classical music to reduce the signs and symptoms of hallucinations.
