Abstract
Background:Diabetes mellitus (Dm) is a chronic condition characterized by an increase in the concentration of glucose in the blood accompanied by the appearance of the main symptoms that have been sweet urine and large or large amounts. Authors' Purpose: To describe nursing care for Diabetes Mellitus patients in meeting the needs of a comfortable feeling of security. Method: The method used in the form of nursing care in patients who have diabetes mellitus. Results:The application of lavender arometerapi conducted during 3 meetings with nonpharmacological therapy in the form of lavender aromatherapy. After giving the scale of lavender aromatherapy pain relief to the client reduced to 3 in the mild category, before giving the scale of lavender aromatherapy measures in the moderate category of scales 6 and 5, after taking the scale of lavender pain scales of lavender pain scale in the mild category of pain 3. Conclusion: Non-pharmacological therapy of lavender aromatherapy can reduce pain scale in Diabetes Mellitus patients. Recommendation: It is expected that Diabetes Mellitus patients can perform lavender aromatherapy therapy to reduce blood pressure.
