Abstract

Background : According to the World Health Organization (WHO, 2012) Hypertension or high blood pressure is systolic blood pressure more than 90 mmHg. Currently an estimated one billion people in the world suffer from Hypertension with pravelensi 26,4%. In Developed countries the pravelence reaches 37,3% the high pravelensi of Hypertension makes it the most important risk factor for cardiovascular disease (Hamidi, 2014). For handling Hypertansion can be done by appliying bay leaf decoction therapy. Objective : To describe the nursing care of hypertensive patients in meeting the needs of a comfortable sense of security. Method : The method used is nursing care for patients wit hypertension. Result : Application of bay leaf stew is carried out for 7 cossecutive days by drinking bay leaf decoction one day morning and evening. In thus case study showed significant changes to reduce blood pressure.
