Abstract

Background: Minor head injury is ahead trauma with a 14-15 Glasgow coma scale score marked by head pain. Pain can be defined as sensory and emotional experiences that are unpleasant, both actual and potential. Arrangements for poignancy with pain could be pharmacological and non-pharmacological. The pharmacological method is administered by giving analgesics and nonpharmacologiy to be administered by murottal Al-Qur’an surah Ar-Rahman therapy, which listened by headset for 30 minutes can have a relaxation efeect. Objective: To determine nursing care and the effect of Murottal Al-Qur'an surah Ar-Rahman on minor heads injury patient with acute pain. Method: This scientific paper is an analytical descriptive with a case study approach. Data were obtained through interview, observation, and physical examination. The subject was two minor head injury patient with acute pain. Result: After the nursing care and having the application of therapy by listening to Murottal Al-Qur’an surah Ar-Rahman, the pain of the patient was decreasing. First patient pain has reduced for moderate pain to none and the second patient from moderate to mild pain scale. Conclusion: It is necessary for minor head injury patient to apply the therapy in decreasing the pain by listening murottal Al-Qur”an surah Ar-Rahman.
