Abstract

Background, Safety in hospital services starts from the accuracy of patient identification, errors in identifying patients at the beginning of the servicewill continue to other service errors. Research Objectives, Analyzing the implementation of identification of patients who are currently walking in the inpatient room at Panti Waluyo Hospital Purworejo. Research Methods, This study is a qualitative research that is research that produces descriptive data in the form of images and written or oral words from informants and the observed processes and behaviors. Researchers used interview, observation and documentation study in the field Research Results, the implementation of patient identification has been carried out in the Indraprasta room of Panti Waluyo Purworejo Hospital. Conclusion, Panti Waluyo Hospital has carried out patient identification and provided support by issuing operational policies and procedures in accordance with Hospital Accreditation standards, but in its implementation it has not been maximized. Recommendation, the patient safety committee conducts an evaluation of the implementation of patient identification at Purworejo Panti Waluyo Hospital
