Abstract
Background : One of the health problems that often occur is headache (Chepalgia). It may lead to disruption of secure and comfort needs. Objective : To describe nursing care of fulfilling secure and comfort needs to Mrs. D in Dahlia ward, Dr. Soedirman Hospital of Kebumen. Nursing Care : Nursing care given to Mrs. D conducted for three days starting on 9 June – 11 June 2016 in Dahlia ward Dr. Soedirman Hospital of kebumen. It was obtained that the client primary complaint was pain of the back part of her head, radiating to the neck and worsening when moving, stabbing pain, pain scale 6 and every 2 minutes the pain happen. Therefore the nursing diagnosis was acute pain associated with biological injury agents. Intervention and implementation has been done was a warm compress. Evaluations of such problem showed pain diminish and reduced pain scale into two. Treatment Analysis : Ginger warm compress is recommended to reduce medium pain caused by Chepalgia.
