Abstract
Background: Typhoid disease is a disease that is easily invade the human body caused by several factors such as contaminated food and inadequate environmental hygiene. The most frequent symptom of the disease is fever. Thermoregulation is needed to fulfill this human basic need to cope the fever. Objective : To describe nursing care of fulfilling thermoregulation need to Mrs.S in dahlia ward, Dr.Soedirman hospital of Kebumen. Nursing : Nursing care conducted for 3 days from 9 to 11 June 2016 showed that the client has five days fever and keep having the fever. The main nursing diagnosis was Hyperthermia associated with the disease process. The implementation of interventions that have been done was giving a warm compress on the forehead and armpits fold. Evaluation showed that the client could do a warm compress correctly and the problem has been resolved. Treatment Analysis: Warm compress may reduce the fever.
