Abstract

Background: Corona Virus infection has an impact, namely anxiety. Excessive anxiety about death from this virus will cause emotional functioning disorders such as psychosomatic disorders. After being given the standard of nursing care with general therapeutic measures and SEFT, it can help reduce the anxiety that is being experienced by covid 19 patients. Objective: To analyze nursing care on client anxiety nursing problems in the covid-19 room at PKU Muhammadiyah Sruweng Hospital Methods: This scientific paper uses a descriptive case study design. In 5 patients who experienced anxiety by giving general therapeutic measures and SEFT given for 7 days with the time of giving in the morning and evening for ± 15 minutes in each meeting, the data were analyzed by analytical descriptive, from 5 nursing care patients, patient 1 was found to have moderate anxiety with a score of 15, patient 2 experienced severe anxiety with a score of 16, patient 3 experienced moderate anxiety with a score of 14, patient 4 experienced severe anxiety with a score of 17 and patient 5 experienced moderate anxiety with a score of 14. The highest score who experienced anxiety was patient 4, namely severe anxiety. After being given SEFT therapy there was an increase, the patient who experienced the highest decrease in signs and symptoms of anxiety was patient 2 and the increase in SEFT therapy was patient 2. Results: Of the five patients experiencing major nursing problems; Anxiety related to the threat of death. Conclusion: The process of providing therapy for the five patients with anxiety levels from the packaging score and increasing their ability to perform SEFT therapy
