Abstract

Background : Head is one of the most common trauma cases and most often found in the emergency departement of every hospital every day.Head injury is defined as non generative and non congenital disease usually caused by a mechanical mass from outside the body involving the scalp or scalp,the skull and the bones yhat make up the face and brain.. In some treatment measures in patientwith head injuries are pharmakological and non pharmakological therapies. One of the non pharmacological therapies for patients with mild head injuries is the administration of spiritual emotional freedom technique ( SEFT )to reduce the headaches felt bypatients with mild head injuries Aim: Determining the effectiveness of the application of the Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique method (SEFT) to reduce pain in CKR patient. Method: This research uses a descriptive research case study design that seeks to describe an indication of an event yhat is currently happening. The number of samples in this study were 5 CKR patients with pain experienced. Research result: Based on case studies,it was found that in general SEFT on reducing pain in CKR patient. Where the five patients experienced a decreasein pain after SELF which initially ranges from moderate to severe pain to mild pain, from observation,it appears that the patient is more comfortable,relaxed and the interaction is better. Conclution: there is effectiveness inthe application of the Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) method to reduce pain in CKR patients .
