Abstract

Background:. Urinary Tract Stones (Urolithiasis) is a condition where there is a hard mass in the form of crystal stones along the urinary tract, causing pain, bleeding and infection. Management of pain in patients with urinary tract stones can be done through nursing care. One of them with the intervention of giving lemon aromatherapy. Objective: to describe the application of nursing care with the main nursing problem of acute pain by applying lemon aromatherapy as a nursing innovation in the Multazam Room of PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Methods: The research method is descriptive with a case study approach. The case study subjects that will be studied are 5 hypertension patients with chronic pain. The tools in this study were the nursing care format, Nursing Kit, pain level observation sheet and SOP for lemon aromatherapy therapy. Presentation of data that the author does by drawing conclusions based on subjective and objective data, which is presented in the documentation method and nursing care resume. Results: The results of the study showed a decrease in pain scale after nursing actions were carried out by applying lemon aromatherapy therapy. Patient I experienced a decrease in pain scale 3. Patient II experienced a decrease in pain scale 4. Patient III experienced a decrease in pain scale 3. Patient IV experienced a decrease in pain scale 3. Patient V experienced a decrease in pain scale 2. Recommendation: The results of this nursing care can be used as a hospital as a reference for the preparation of SOPs for the management of acute pain reduction using lemon aromatherapy therapy.
