Abstract

Baground : Febrile seizures that occur at in incrase in body temperature (rectal temperature more than 38 degre celcius)caused by an extracranium process.This disease is transmitten throught food and drink that is contaminated with feces or urine of an infected person . Objective : To Find out how to deal with fever by Appliying a warm compress using the Tepid Sponge Water Method. Method : This Paper uses a descriptive method in the form of case studies using the nursing proces. Intervention Result : After the application of the patient’s body temperature before the Tepid Sponge Water action is high,but after the Tepid Sponge Water action is given the body temperature gradually drops.After The Tepid Sponge Water is taken to the client for 3 days the client’s body temperature An.A: 39 C to 37.5 C and An.N:38.5 C to 36.5 C it can be conclude that the action of Tepid Sponge Water can reduse fever in patient with febrile seizures. Conclusion : The action of applying Tepid Sponge Water is very effective to reduce the temperature of the body that has a fever , as evidenced by change in body temperature An.A 37.5 C and An.N 37 C. Recommendation : The author can Apply the Tepid Sponge Water Aplication to deal with Fever
