Abstract
Background: Chronic kidney failure is a disease where uranium is found in the kidneys, kidney function disorders are progressive and irreversible so they must be treated with hemodialysis, patients undergoing hemodialysis usually affect their physical and psychological conditions. Anxiety is one of the things that is often experienced by hemodialysis patients. Objectives: Describing the results of the analysis of nursing care in chronic kidney failure patients with anxiety nursing problems by providing progressive muscle relaxation therapy interventions at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Method: The descriptive method was a case study, samples are 5 patients, the SOP was progressive muscle relaxation therapy, nursing care provided an action of prosedur nursing strategy 1 (SP 1) with the muscule relaxation therapy, in patient renal failure cronic who experienced anxiety, therapy was carried out 3 times before hemodialysis therapy is carried out with a duration of 20 minutes, HADS anxiety instrument. Results: The results of the evaluation of the patient's symptoms after the SP 1 nursing action and the lowest progressive muscle relaxation therapy were at P2, P4, and P5 with a decrease of 5 (24%) Normal and the highest increase in ability in P1, P4, and P5 with an increase of 14 (70%) Tall. (100%) High. Conclusion: A case study on patients experienced anxiety with the action of SP 1 action and progressive muscle relaxation therapy in patients with chronic kidney failure in the Barokah room of PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital, it can be concluded that patients with chronic kidney failure experienced decreased signs and symptoms of anxiety and increased ability to perform muscle relaxation therapy. progressive. Recommendation: Chronic kidney failure patients was experienced anxiety to apply progressive muscle relaxation therapy.
