Abstract
Background: One of the problems during the delivery is anxiety because of pain. It is discomfort of a mother during her delivery. Delivery pain can cause problems, such as long delivery process. Acupressure is a simple way to treat the pain. Objective: To be able to provide midwifery care for physiological delivery. This is conducted by applying acupressure technique on the palm point. This is done when there is intensity of delivery stage 1 pain of Mrs. R, a 35 year-old mother with G1P0A0 in private midwifery clinic of Midwife Ma'rifatun MS at Krandegan, Puring, Kebumen in 2016. Method: This scientific paper uses qualitative descriptive. There is only one participant chosen in the case study. Data analysis is done by using qualitative analysis based on the data analysis stage. Result: There was a change of the pain after being intervented using acupressure technique on the palm point. Conclusion : There are significant different pain of delivery stage 1 before and after being intervented using acupressure technique on palm point.
