Abstract
Background: Hypertension is high blood pressure more than normal where the systolic pressure is 140 mmHg and diastolic pressure is 90 mmHg. One way to control hypertension is to take antihypertensive drugs as recommended by health workers. The level of education and family support is very influential on patient compliance in taking medication. Objective: This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the level of education and Support family to obedience drink drug patient hypertension in Public health center I 'm economical . Research Methods: This study uses a quantitative correlation method with a cross-sectional approach. This sample uses 60 respondents taken by purposive sampling . Collecting data using a questionnaire then analyzed descriptively and correlation using the Spearman Rank test. Research Results: Based on research conducted in May 2022, it was found that most of them had low education (61.6%), most had family support in the moderate category (41.7%) Most had moderate levels of compliance (58.3% ). The results of data analysis using the Spearman Rank test, obtained a relationship between education level and medication adherence p-value 0.341 < (0.05), the relationship between family support and medication adherence p-value 0.00 < (0.05) Conclusion: There is no relationship between education level and medication adherence, but there is a relationship between family support and medication adherence
