Abstract
Background: Chronic Kidney Failure (CKD) is a series of clinical symptoms that occur because the kidneys experience a progressive decline in function over years. Fatigue is a condition when a person is tired and does not have the energy to carry out daily activities. This situation is often found in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy. Several factors that may be associated with fatigue are hb levels, duration of hemodialysis, blood pressure, IDWG, and comorbidities. Based on results study on Juni 2, 2021 through interviews with 10 people undergoing hemodialysis at Soedirman Kebumen, data obtained from all samples 100% experienced fatigue. Of the 10 respondents, 3 (30%) said that they had undergone hemodialysis for more than 2 years, and 3 (30%) said they had hypertension. Objective: To determine the factors associated with fatigue in patients with chronic kidney failure undergoing hemodialysis at RSUD dr. Sudirman Kebumen Research Methods: This study was a non-experimental study with a correlational design. The sampling technique used was total sampling technique. The number of respondents in this study were 128 respondents. The results: The results showed that there was a relationship between hemoglobin levels and fatigue (sig = 0.000), there was a relationship between blood pressure and fatigue (sig = 0.004), there was a relationship between length of hemodialysis and fatigue (sig = 0.000), there was a relationship between IDWG and fatigue (sig = 0.000), and there is a relationship between comorbidities and fatigue (sig = 0.000). Conclusion:. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between hemoglobin factors, duration of hemodialysis, blood pressure, IDWG, and comorbidities with fatigue in patients undergoing hemodialysis. Recommendation: Further researchers can add other variables related to fatigue in patients with chronic kidney failure, namely family support, education level and profession.
