Abstract

Background; Chronic Kidney Failure (CKD) is an irreversible disruption of kidney function that lasts for a long time and causes the inability of the kidneys to maintain metabolism in the body. Several factors associated with HB levels in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis are age, gender, length of hemodialysis, and nutritional status. Based on a preliminary study conducted at RSUD Dr. Soedirman Kebumen, the results of the examination of hemoglobin levels in April 2021 showed that many respondents had hemoglobin levels <10 g/dL which indicated anemia. Objective; To determine the factors related with hemoglobin levels in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis in RSUD Dr. Soedirman Kebumen Methods; This study was a non-experimental study with a correlation design. The sampling technique used was the total sampling technique with the number of respondents 109 respondents. Results; Factors associated with hemoglobin levels include : Age (sig=0.000), Gender (sig= 0.000), Long hemodialysis (sig=0,000), Nutritional Status (sig= 0.011) Conclusion; The results of this study indicate the influence of age, gender, length of hemodialysis, and nutritional status on hemoglobin levels in patients undergoing hemodialysis. Recommendation; For further researchers can add other variables related to hemoglobin levels in patients with chronic kidney failure, namely the presence of comorbidities/ complications.
