Abstract

Background : When the nurses conduct a lot of their nursing job, they feel exhausted emotionally and physically. These problems give pressure for the nurse and it is named with burnout. Burnout is influenced by their self; they think that their capability able to give best service in healthcare to the patients. Confident in nurses when they conduct their duty to receive a purpose, it is named as selfefficacy. Objective : To find out the correlation between self-efficacy and burnout of the nurses who working at the intensive room of RSUD dr. Soedirman of Kebumen. Method : This study used a descriptive correlational research method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample technique used a total sampling of fifty-one nurses who working in the intensive room of RSUD dr. Soedirman of Kebumen. Results : There was a significant correlation between self-efficacy and burnout of nurses who working at the intensive room of RSUD dr. Soedirman of Kebumen with p value = 0,000 < 0,05. Conclusion : Self-efficacy and burnout of nurses who working at the intensive room of RSUD dr. Soedirman of Kebumen have a significant correlation. Recommendation : Further research hope to explore the factors associated with self-efficacy and burnout of nurses.
