Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic not only affects physical health, but also affects the mental health of the community. During the Covid-19 pandemic, people will have an excessive sense of worry, especially for the elderly and this can affect visits to the elderly posyandu. This study aims to determine the relationship between anxiety about contracting Covid-19 and compliance with visits to the Posyandu for the elderly in Karang Pakis Village, Nusawungu District, Cilacap Regency. This research method is correlation research with cross sectional approach. The research population was all elderly people in Karang Pakis Village, Nusawungu District, Cilacap Regency. The number of samples was determined by a simple formula according to Notoatmodjo (2018) as many as 93 were taken using a cluster random sampling technique. Data analysis using Chi Square statistical test. The results showed that there is a relationship between anxiety about contracting Covid-19 and compliance with visits to the elderly posyandu in Karang Pakis Village, Nusawungu District, Cilacap Regency (p = 0,001).
