Abstract

Background, According to data from the WHO (World Health Organization) in 2010 estimated that in 2014, nearly 422 million people over the age of 18 were at risk of developing diabetes. The cause of Diabetes Mellitus is due to an unhealthy lifestyle, such as smoking, alcoholic beverages, unhealthy eating patterns and the main thing is lack of activity or lazy to move. Research Objectives, Knowing the relationship between physical activity patterns and quality of life in people with diabetes mellitus at the Sempor 2 Health Center. Research Methods, The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. The sampling method in this research is purposive sampling using slovin sampling technique. Analysis using Pearson Correlation using the SPSS program The results, There is a significant relationship between physical activity and quality of life in patients with diabetes mellitus at the Sempor 2 Public Health Center with an r value of 0.710 in a positive direction with p = 0.000 (<0.05) Conclusion, In this study, there was a significant relationship between physical activity and quality of life in patients with diabetes mellitus at the Sempor 2 Public Health Center with an r value of 0.710 in a positive direction with p = 0.000 (<0.05) value. Recommendations, For further researchers are expected to be able to conduct research with other methods or other variables.
