Abstract

Background : Diabetic wounds or diabetic ulcers are abnormalities in the nerves, blood vessels that occur with poor blood circulation, so that blood does not flow to the feet properly. In addition, high glucose levels can cause feet to lose feeling due to growing damage to the nerves of the feet and the presence of infections that cause injuries. Research Objectives : Describe nursing care with diabetes mellitus disorders and clients with high blood sugar disorders. Method : This paper is a descriptive method, namely a research conducted with the main objective to provide an overview of the condition study objectively and to analyze more deeply about the nursing education of diabetes mellitus patients. Results : Changes in the ability to perform to reduce risk factors, implement treatment programs, activities of daily living are effective in meeting health goals. action to reduce risk factors. Conclusion : Providing education to patients with diabetes mellitus can affect the patient's quality of life. Recommendations : The use of nursing education is expected that patients and families can minimize the risk of complications from diabetes mellitus.
