Abstract

Background: Gastritis is an inflammatory condition of the gastric mucosal lining. There are various reasons, especially ingredients that are irritants so that the mucous layer will be eroded. The result of this damage is the entry of bacteria into the wound which comes from the food consumed, causing inflammation of the stomach wall. Helicobacteri Phylory is a bacteria that can cause gastritis. These bacteria enter the inflamed area which then causes health problems. Method: This scientific paper is written using a case study descriptive method by collecting or obtaining data through interviews, observation, and documentation to obtain data that is subjective and objective in accordance with the conditions of the respondents. The focus of the case study was to implement one of the non-pharmacological nursing actions with WWZ warm water compresses on 3 respondents in Gunungsari village. Results: The results of the nursing evaluation in 3 patients found that acute pain problems were resolved by reducing pain levels. Patient I experienced 2 pain reduction scales. Patient Il experienced 2 pain reduction scales. Patient III also experienced 2 pain reduction scales. Recommendation: It is hoped that warm compresses can be applied to overcome pain problems in Gastritis patients and to add to scientific papers about warm compresses to reduce pain in gastritis.
