Abstract

Background : Cervical cancer is one of the most common malignant diseases and is currently the leading cause of cancer death in women. Patients with cervical cancer experience the effects of treatment, including physical, psychological, and spiritual, as long as the patient is undergoing treatment. Each treatment responds differently to physical, psychological, and spiritual effects. Objective : The purpose of this study was to determine the physical picture, psychological picture, and picture of the spirituality of patients with cervical cancer in RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Methods : This research design uses descriptive quantitative research method with a cross sectional approach. The sample of this research is 90 people. Samples were taken for this study using purposive sampling technique. Results : Physical descriptions of cervical cancer patients undergoing treatment include diarrhea, cramps or stiffness in the abdomen, tingling in the feet and hands, psychological descriptions of cervical cancer patients who are psychologically disturbed by 14 respondents with a percentage of 15.6%. While respondents who are psychologically undisturbed are 76 respondents with a percentage of 84.4%, the picture of spirituality shows that respondents who have high spirituality are 88 respondents with a percentage of 97.8% and respondents who have moderate spirituality are 2 respondents with a percentage of 2.2%. Suggestion : It is hoped that future researchers can conduct the same research with more varied and in-depth variables so that an overall picture can be obtained.
