Abstract

Background: Hallucinations are a disorder in which a person sees or experiences things that are not real and only exist in his own mind. Techniques to control hallucinations are by generalist action (Implementation Strategy) and group activity therapy. Objective: Describe nursing care for patients with hallucinatory sensory perception disorders using generalist therapy and group activity therapy session 2. Method: This scientific writing uses a research method with a case study approach which was carried out in Kalibeji Sempor Village. Data obtained from the results of nursing care given to patients and families. The instruments used include: observation sheets for signs and symptoms of hallucinations, observation sheets for client abilities, reduction sheets before and after the Implementation Strategy and group activity therapy. The number of subjects there were 3 respondents with implementation during 6 meetings for 30 minutes. Results: The results of the evaluation of nursing care showed that there was a decrease in signs and symptoms of hallucinations in client 1 from 10 to 5, while clients 2 and 3 experienced the same decrease, from 10 to 6. There was an increase in the client's ability to control hallucinations with generalist therapy, namely on clients 1 and 2 experienced the same increase from 3 to 11 while on client 3 experienced an increase from 3 to 12. Recommendation: Giving generalist therapy and group activity therapy are highly recommended in routine programs for hallucinatory clients.
