Abstract
Background: Chronic kidney failure is a disorder that attacks kidney function, so that the kidneys do not have the ability to control electricity and fluids in the body. In the final stage of chronic kidney failure, the kidneys are no longer able to function optimally and are no longer functioning, so hemodialysis therapy is needed which can replace kidney function to remove toxins and harmful substances from the body. However, hemodialysis therapy has an impact on the level of sleep quality. Objective: To explain the effect of rose water foot soak therapy on blood pressure of hypertensive patients in Sridadi Village, Sirampog District, Brebes Regency. Explaining the effect of Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) therapy on hemodialysis patients at RSUD dr.Soedirman Kebumen. Methods: This research is a quantitative study using quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design for 34 respondents with chronic kidney failure undergoing hemodialysis therapy at RSUD dr.Soedirman Kebumen. The statistical test used is paired simple t test. Results: The statistical test results of the Paired simple t test showed a P value = 0.000 where the p value <0.05, which means that H1 is accepted, which means that there is an effect of SEFT therapy on the level of quality of sleep in kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy. Conclusion: There is an effect of SEFT therapy on the level of sleep quality in chronic kidney failure patients on hemodialysis patients. Recommendations: Future research is expected to develop this research and combine this therapy with others.
