Abstract

Background, Drug information services are the obligation of a pharmacist based on the patient's interests. One form of service that must be provided is information related to the use of drugs that are delivered to patients in an appropriate, safe, and rational manner. Based on the results of Renggo and Ririn's research, there is a percentage that has not been fulfilled in terms of providing information on drug names, drug dosages, and how to store drugs. Research purposes, the aim is to determine the suitability of providing information while drug delivery at the Community Health Center of Kutoarjo subdistrict with Permenkes No. 74 of 2016, which added to the destruction of drugs. Research methods, Non-experimental descriptive research quantitative, were compared to Permenkes No. 74 of 2016, which added to the destruction of drugs. Research results, Based on the results of the study, three pieces of information are in accordance with Permenkes No. 74 of 2016, where the information gets a value of 100%. The information referred are how to use the drug and when to use the drug by Community Health Center C, as well as information on drug frequency by Public Health Center B. As for information on drug dosage, duration of drug use, drug side effects, how to store the drug, and how to destroy the drug, there is none of Community Health Center at Kutoarjo subdistrict that did it well optimally (100%). Conclusion, The provision of information to patients at the Community Health Center of Kutoarjo subdistrict has been carried out in its entirety but has not been carried out optimally. Recommendation, For the Community Health Center to be able to improve the provision of information while drug delivery and be able to complete the information conveyed. As well as for the future, this research can be developed by asking the patient to repeat the information conveyed by a pharmacist to find out whether the patient has understood the information that has been conveyed.
