Abstract
Background: Clients with schizophrenia are more than 90% sure to experience hallucinations. These hallucinations can lead to violent behavior that can hurt others, and themselves. One way to optimize treatment is to use generalist therapy. Purpose : Describe nursing care for hallucinatory clients through generalist therapy in Sempor Community Health Center 1 Area. Method: This scientific writing method uses a case study approach, namely analyzing and presenting facts systematically so that they are easier to understand and conclude. The approach taken includes assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation and evaluation as well as training to control hallucinations using SP 1-4 generalist therapy using symptom signs sheets and increasing the ability to control hallucinations carried out in Sempor Community Health Center 1 Area. Results: intervention and implementation that have been carried out in the form of 5 applications of generalist therapy found a decrease in signs and symptoms with a percentage of 40% for client 1 and client 2 and an increase in the ability to control hallucinations in client 1 increased by 3 scores and client 2 by 4 scores and client 3 less improved during the application. Conclusion: The application of general therapy is effective in reducing signs of hallucinatory symptoms and effective in improving the client's ability to control hallucinations Recommendation: General therapy is recommended to hallucinatory clients to optimize treatment.
