Abstract
Background: The number of inpatient visits at the Kutowinangun Health Center has decreased from the target of 960 patients per year to 301 patients. Then data on patient visits for 2022, the number of inpatient visits from January to June 2022 reached 161 of the target per semester. Based on initial interviews with patients in September, out of 20 patients, 59.3% stated that the data was not good, while 40.7% stated that inpatient services at the Kutowinangun Health Center were good. This is because, among other things, patients state that medical personnel are not friendly to patients, medical personnel when called upon do not respond quickly, medical personnel lack empathy for patient pain, and patients state that the puskesmas inpatient facilities are incomplete. Research Objectives: to know, to analyze the effect of nurse reliability and empathy on the number of inpatient visits at the Kutowinangun Health Center. Methods: quantitative, cross-sectional approach with a sample of 76 patients, purposive sampling technique. Bivariate analysis Regression test. Results: the reliability and empathy of nurses have a significant influence on the number of patient visits to the Kutowinangun Health Center inpatient care with a sig. value <0.05%. Conclusion: the reliability and empathy of inpatient nurses at the Kutowinangun Health Center affect the number of patient visits. Recommendations for future researchers: research
