Abstract
Background: Breastfeeding is a natural process of giving food from mother to baby. Breastfeeding is the right of babies and mothers, and is the best way to meet the nutritional needs of babies. However, breastfeeding does not always go smoothly, especially for post partum mothers with sectio caesarea. Ineffective breastfeeding can cause various problems, such as the baby not getting enough breast milk, the mother feels stressed and anxious, and the relationship between mother and baby becomes less harmonious. Hypno breastfeeding can help overcome these problems. Purpose: This study aims to provide an overview of nursing care for post partum sectio caesarea mothers with ineffective breastfeeding in the Flamboyan Room of Prof. dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Method: This study uses a descriptive approach with a case study design. The research subjects were 5 post partum sectio caesarea mothers with ineffective breastfeeding who were treated in the Flamboyan Room of Prof. Hospital. dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and physical examination. Results: The results of the assessment on Clients I-V were ineffective breastfeeding. The priority nursing diagnoses for the five clients have the same problem, namely ineffective breastfeeding. The interventions and implementation of nursing carried out are assessing milk production, providing education on correct breastfeeding techniques and breast massage to help facilitate breastfeeding, and monitoring milk production/smoothness and advising mothers to breastfeed with two breasts every time breastfeeding and providing support to mothers to improve breast milk production. confidence in breastfeeding through hypno-breastfeeding. The evaluation results showed that breastfeeding problems were not effectively resolved. The results of nursing innovations for Clients I-V showed a decrease in the signs of ineffective breastfeeding and an increase in the adequacy of breast milk Recommendation: Health workers need to provide optimal education and support to post partum sectio caesarea mothers to increase breastfeeding success, by implementing hypno breastfeeding action innovations.
