Abstract
Background: Acute illnesses and initial hospitalization of patients treated in intensive care as well as treating patients will also have an impact on family members. Anxiety is one of the psychological impacts experienced by families of critical patients. Nursing assistance in nursing care can include attention, compassion, fast thinking, and caring. Spiritual assistance can also relieve psychological conditions such as fear, shock, depression, anger, anxiety, and depression. Objective: to analyze the caring relationship of nurses and the level of spirituality of the patient's family with the level of anxiety of the family of the patient being treated in the ICU. Method: This research is a correlative descriptive type with cross-selective enhancement. The sample was 54 patients and families using simple random sampling technique. Bivariate analysis uses the chi squarel correlation test. Results: The majority of nursing care in the hospital was good at 46 (85.2%). The spiritual level of the patient's family was in the high category, numbering 28 respondents (51.9%). The majority of the anxiety levels of the families of patients treated in the ICU at were in the moderate category, numbering 34 respondents (63.0%). Conclusion: There is a relationship between caring for nurses and the level of anxiety of the patient's family with a p value is 0.003. There is a correlation between the spiritual level of the patient's family and the level of spirituality of the family of the patient being treated in the ICU with a value of p is 0.001. Recommendation: Hospitals should provide spiritual training and training for nurses regarding spirituality.
