Abstract
Background: Free sex is an activity carried out by a pair of humans starting from holding hands, touching sensitive areas, hugging, kissing, and also pre-marital sex. The impacts that are often encountered include getting infected with venereal diseases and pregnancy before marriage. There are several ways to deal with the problem of free sex in adolescents, one of which involves parents and involves an organization so that they are busy. Research Objectives: to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes of adolescents towards free sex at SMK Purnama 2 Gombong. Research Methods: This type of research is quantitative with a correlation design. The research instrument used a questionnaire about teenagers' knowledge of free sex and a questionnaire about teenagers' attitudes towards free sex. The research was carried out on July 17-28. The research respondents were 136 people. The questionnaire has been tested for reliability, by collecting data using a questionnaire on teenagers' knowledge of free sex and collecting data on teenagers' attitudes towards free sex using a questionnaire and then the data is processed using Kendall's Tau. Research Results: The research results obtained from 136 respondents found that the majority of respondents had sufficient knowledge of 74 respondents (54.4%), and the majority of respondents with sufficient attitudes amounted to 70 respondents (51.5%), then through statistical tests using Kendalls Tau obtained p value = 0.000 (p<0.05) there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of adolescents towards free sex at SMK Purnama 2 Gombong with a strong correlation coefficient (π=0.771). Conclusion: there is a strong relationship between knowledge and attitudes of adolescents towards free sex at SMK Purnama 2 Gombong. Recommendation: Further researchers can develop this research with different methods and can examine the factors that influence the level of knowledge and attitudes towards free sex.
