Abstract
Background: Breastfeeding is a right that is not easy to do. Many factors can hinder the continuity of this process, including insufficient breast milk volume (32%), problematic nipples (28%), breast swelling (25%), influence on using formula milk (6%), career women (5% ). Therefore, providing support to mothers to provide breast milk is very important. Objective: Implement breast care to increase breast milk volume in postpartum mothers. Method: The method used is a descriptive analytical approach with a case study design approach. Participants consisted of 5 postpartum mothers. The research instrument used was an observation sheet. Results: After applying breast care to 5 participants, breast milk volume increased by 100%. Conclusion: After 2 weeks of breast care, it has a significant effect on increasing the volume of breast milk in postpartum mothers.
