Abstract
Background: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a disease that can cause death if not treated immediately. Hemodialysis in hospitals can cause psychological stress (anxiety) and physical disorders in patients. Objective: Analyze the factors that influence the anxiety level of Hemodialysis patients at PKU Muhammadiyah Sruweng Hospital Method: Correlational research type with a cross-sectional approach. The sample obtained was 75 respondents using total sampling. The instrument used was the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), which tested obtained 0.706 family support questionnaires with a correlation coefficient above 0.30. Bivariate analysis with Spearman rank and chi square tests. Results: Of the total number of respondents that were completed, there were 75 respondents. From the results, there was an influence of the age factor on the level of mild anxiety as much as 46.7%. There was no influence of gender factors on the level of mild anxiety as much as 32%. There was no influence of work factors on the patient's anxiety level as much as 32%. There is an influence of the length of service on anxiety levels by 40%. There is an influence of family support on anxiety levels of 50.7%. Conclusion: Factors that influence the anxiety level of Hemodialysis patients are age, occupation, length of HD treatment and family support. Recommendation: From the research results, family support allows CKD patients to feel appreciated. Family social support has an important influence on patient recovery.
