Abstract
Background: Hallucinations are a person's loss of ability to differentiate between what is real and what is not real. Signs and symptoms of hallucinations include laughing to yourself, talking to yourself, shifting your gaze easily and having difficulty concentrating. Generalist therapy (implementation strategy) and dhikr therapy are carried out to reduce signs and symptoms of hallucinations. General Objective: Describe nursing care to patients with hallucinatory sensory perception disorders using generalist therapy combined with dhikr therapy. Method: This scientific paper uses a research method with a case study approach conducted at the Dosaraso Kebumen Shelter House for 5 meetings for 30 minutes. The instruments used are observation sheets of the ability to perform generalist therapy, observation sheets of decreasing signs and symptoms of hallucinations, observation sheets of the ability to do dhikr therapy. Results: The average decrease in hallucinatory signs and symptoms in all three clients was 5.3 (41.5%), with the highest score in client 2 as much as 6 (49.8%). The average increase in the ability to perform generalist therapy was 3.3 (83.3%) with the highest score in client 2 as much as 3 (75%). The average increase in the ability to perform dhikr from the three clients was 6.7 (66.7%) with the highest score in client 1 as much as 7 (70%). Conclusion: Generalist therapy and dhikr therapy can reduce hallucinations Recommendation: The application of generalist therapy and dhikr therapy is highly recommended for hallucinatory patients.
