Abstract
Background: This scientific paper is based on data obtained from various literature sources which states that traditional honey lime and cough therapy is an effective alternative herbal therapy. This therapy can be used to treat ineffective airway clearance disorders in ARI (Acute Respiratory Infection) patients. Objective: Describes ineffective nursing care for airway clearance disorders in ARI (Acute Respiratory Infection) children in Rogodono village, Buayan District. Method: This scientific paper used a description method with a case report approach, data was obtained through observation and interviews with respondents totaling 3 ARI (Acute Respiratory Infection) pediatric patients. Results: After carried out traditional honey lime therapy and effective coughing for 4 consecutive days, the results were that the rhonchi breath sounds decreased, chest wall tension decreased, sputum production decreased, breathing frequency and breathing patterns returned to normal. Recommendation: Patients are advised to continue traditional honey lime and effective cough therapy independently at home to facilitate the smooth process of the respiratory system and make it easier for phlegm to be expelled and prevent signs and symptoms from appearing again.
