Abstract
Background: Hypertension is a condition where blood pressure increases continuously and hypertensive patients are at risk of ineffective cerebral perfusion due to increased intracranial pressure, one of the nonpharmacological therapies is the acurpresure technique which is effectively used as a therapy to lower blood pressure. Objective: To describe the results of nursing care for the application of the Akurpresure Technique in hypertensive patients Methods: This paper uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. Case study instruments use nursing care formats, SOPs for the Akurpresure Technique, Observation Sheets, Sphygmomanometer, Urut Oil. The subjects consisted of 3 people with hypertension with a therapy time of 3 days. Results: After the Akurpresure Massage Technique intervention for 3 consecutive days all respondents experienced a decrease in blood pressure. Conclusion: Akurpresure technique can lower blood pressure
