Abstract
Background: Sectio Caesarea (SC) delivery is the process of expelling the fetus by making an incision in the abdominal wall and uterus, causing pain and anxiety. The strategy that can be used to treat acute pain is a combination of Foot Massage and Humidifer Aromatherapy. Apart from that, this therapy can also increase circulation, reduce muscle tension, and reduce the pain response Objective:. To explain nursing care by providing combination therapy of foot massage andaromatherapy humidifier to post-SC patients at RSI Banjarnegara Methods: This case study uses a descriptive method involving 5 patients with acute pain in post-SC patients. Data obtained using pre and post observation sheets will then be assessed to confirm the diagnosis, so the action taken is a combination of foot massage therapy and Lavender Aromatherapy Humidifer. Results: After the intervention was carried out by providing a combination of foot massage therapy and Lavender Aromatherapy Humidifer, the results were obtained Controlled pain is proven by a decrease in the pain scale, where the five patients had a mild scale (scale 2-4) from a scale of 6-7 (moderate pain) after giving massage for 1x20 minutes. Conclusion: The results of this case study show an improvement in the patient's condition by proving that the level of pain was controlled before and after applying a combination of foot massage therapy and Lavender Aromatherapy Humidifier.
