Abstract
Background: Mental disorders are characterized by symptoms such as hallucinations, illusions, and behavioral changes. Globally, hallucinations reach 300 million and in Central Java hallucinations reach 317,504 and 0.23% of the population. A person experiencing hallucinations experiences various symptoms including talking or laughing to themselves. Hallucinations can be treated nonpharmacologically, for example with dhikr therapy and reading the Qur'an. Objective: Analyzing nursing care for hallucination patients who experience hallucination disorders with the application of dhikr therapy and reading the Qur'an. Methods: The method used used case study method and analytical descriptive technique with 3 participants. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, measurement of signs and symptoms of hallucinations and therapy ability measurement sheets on the three subjects for 7 meetings with a duration of approximately 15-30 minutes. Results: After being given nursing care for 7 meetings, the level of hallucinations in hallucination patients decreased in patient 1 with a score of 11 to 2 from the results of pre assessment of signs and symptoms of hallucinations, after being treated which experienced an increase in ability in patient 3 with a score of 3 to 7. Recommendation: Hallucination patients are advised to apply dhikr therapy and recite the Qur'an regularly and independently.
