Abstract
Background: The incidence of hypertension with chronic renal failure increases every year, the use of single or combined antihypertensive drugs can prevent the severity of hypertension which has risk factors for kidney damage. The effectiveness of drug use is proven by monitoring blood pressure reduction with a target of ≤ 140/90 mmHg. Objective, This study aims to determine the treatment profile, effectiveness picture, and comparison of each single and combined antihypertensive drug in hypertensive patients with chronic renal failure in Inpatient at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Methods: This study is a retrospective non-experimental type, sampling in 2023 who met the inclusion criteria with the age of 18 years, hypertensive patients with chronic renal failure hospitalized at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital and patients who received single and combined antihypertensive treatment. Result: The results of the study of hypertensive patients with chronic renal failure in the treatment profile were mostly given a combination of furosemide + amlodipine + irbesartan (46 patients). The results of effective treatment for the combination were furosemide + kandesartan (9 patients) while the single was furosemide (2 patients). The use of each combination and single drug has no difference in effectiveness with a p value 1.000 which means p value > a = 0.05. Conclusion: The results of this study show no difference in the effectiveness of drug use. 1.000 Which means p value > a = 0.05. Recommendations: Future researchers can conduct further research based on other factors, different antihypertensive drugs, a larger number of samples and different places.
