Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a condition that causes strong high blood pressure for a long time and causes pain that can cause death. Hypertension can be caused by several factors, including age, genetics and cholesterol. Fatigue when doing activities, pain in the back of the neck, anxiety, and headaches are signs and symptoms of hypertension. Regular exercise along with proper diet management and correcting unhealthy lifestyles are the recommended treatments for hypertension. One therapy that is believed to lower blood pressure is Benson Relaxation Therapy. Objective: To describe nursing care with acute pain of Hypertension clients to reduce blood pressure by applying Benson Relaxation therapy. Methods: This scientific paper used a descriptive approach method with case studies. Data was obtained through interviews and observations with three hypertension clients Results: After carrying out Benson Relaxation therapy 2 times a day for 3 days, the blood pressure of the three clients decreased Recommendation: Hypertension clients are advised to apply Benson Relaxation therapy regularly
