Abstract
Background : Anxiety experienced by pregnant women with pre-eclamsia is more severe than that of pregnant women without pre-eclamsia. Nurses play a role in dealing with anxiety through a non-pharmacological approach, one of which is pray. This therapy provides an element of relaxation to reduce anxiety. Objective : describing nursing care for pregnant women with pre-eclamsia in the Rahma Room of PKUMuhammadiyah Hospital of Gombong. Methods : This Final Scientific Paper uses a descriptive case study approach. The instrument used was the PASS anxiety observation sheet. This case study involved 5 responden with the criteria of preeclamtic pregnant woment who experiencet anxiety and wash carriyet out for 3 days. Results: The nursing problem that arises is anxiety. Nursing intervention and implementation, namely pray therapy. The results of the nursing evaluationof the five patients with this therapy indicatet that the anxiety nursing problem was resolved. At the first patient froma score 30 (moderate anxiety) to a score of 21 (mild anxiety), the second patient from a score of 33 (moderate anxiety) to a score 23 (mild anxiety), the third patient from a score of 33 (moderate anxiety) to a score 21 (mild anxiety), the fourth patient froma score of 37 (moderate anxiety) to a score 21 (mild anxiety), and on the fifth patient from a score of 35 (moderate anxiety) to a score 22 (mild anxiety). Recommendation : The results of this case study can be applied to pregnant woment with pre-clampsia who experience anxiety.
