Abstract
Background: Hypertension is a condition that refers to disorders of the blood vessels, which inhibit the flow of oxygen and nutrients carried by the blood throughout the body. According to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, hypertension is one of the leading causes of death, both in developed countries and in developing countries such as Indonesia. This disease develops slowly and often shows no symptoms for years, until organ damage becomes very severe, so it is often referred to as "the silent killer". Objective: Analyzing nursing care provided to individuals with moderate hypertension with nursing problems of ineffective cerebral perfusion risk. Methods: This scientific paper uses a case study method on 5 patients with Hypertension. The instruments used are nursing care format, SOP Handgrip Exercise and SOP Progressive Muscle Relaxation. Nursing Care Resultd: Nursing problems that emerged in the 5 patients with hypertension were the risk of ineffective cerebral perfusion, based on the implementation that had been carried out on the 5 patients using Handgrip Exercise and Progressive Muscle Relaxation to reduce blood pressure carried out for 5 days experienced a decrease in systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure. Recommendation: From the results of this nursing care, it is hoped that for further research, therapy will be carried out in the morning and for more than 5 days.
