Abstract
Background: Based on the result of Basic Health Research of Central Java Province (2013), the number of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) patients in Kebumen District is 1.4%. The level serious condition DM type II can causing Arteri Perifer Disease and them 75% die. Objective: To perform nursing care by applying physical exercise, such as walking and diabetic foot exercises to see the value of CRT and blood sugar level. Method: This scientific paper is an analytical descriptive with a case study. Data were obtained through interview, observation, physical examination. The subject was a diabetes mellitus type II no injury client. Result: After applying the physical exercise once a three exercise in a week, there was an increases in knowledge level of the client, in capillary refill time from 3 seconds to 2 seconds, and the ability of diabetic foot exercises. There was also a decrease in blood sugar level from 583 mg / dl to 230 mg / dl. Conclusion: The application of physical exercises by walking and doing diabetic foot exercises is one of the effective physical DM exercises to smooth the blood circulation in the leg and to control blood sugar level as an effort to prevent DM complication
