Abstract
Background: Asthma desease is one of problem breathing way, with sign are cough, decreased lung expansion. Purpose: General purpose of this writing is to describe nursing care to the asthma patient. Result: the nursing problem were ineffective airway clearance, ineffective breathing pattern, intolerance activity, and cognitive deficit. The nursing implementations that done as appropriate intervention were monitoring vital sign, monitoring the respiration and oxygen status, implementation of effective cough, giving bronchodilator drugs, observating patient in daily activities, and discuss the therapy selection or handling. Discussion: Non-pharmacology technique implemented in this case, this way can help patient to put out secretions. Evaluation: during gave nursing care as long 3 days, patients said decreased long expansion more better, but still seen using chest muscle when patient took a breath. Recommendation: In the future, teching patient about the cough effective technique at least 2 times per a day.
