Abstract
Background: Chronic renal failure patient having hemodialysis therapy often has a health problem, such as sleep disturbance. This disturbance can affect his activities that will decrease his life quality. Objective: This study aims at finding the correlation of the sleep quality and the life quality of chronic renal failure patient having hemodialysis therapy in Muhammadiyah Hospital of Gombong. Method: This study uses a correlation method with cross sectional survey approach. The samples are 34 respondents selected by using random sampling technique. The data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis and the correlation was analyzed by using a Chi Square test. Result: This study results in the finding that most respodents have poor sleep quality (73.5%) and also poor life quality (35.3%) Conclusion: There is a correlation of the sleep quality and the life quality of chronic renal failure patient having hemodialysis therapy in Muhammadiyah Hospital of Gombong. (p=0.014)
